Elevated Tides LLC, a group of local boaters and investors, has purchased the Columbia Way West moorage in Portland, Oregon’s North Portland Harbor. On-site moorage management will remain unchanged, including the availability of seasonal slips.

Elevated Tides is embarking on plans to replace and upgrade the docks, as well as implement other enhancements, to incorporate more slips and amenities while maintaining an affordable mooring option.

The moorage has slips for 73 vessels, including seasonal slips, a handful of kayaks and dinghies, and 14 floating homes that overlook the docks.  The facility is conveniently located on the Oregon shoreline, avoiding I-5 Bridge traffic woes. The location on North Portland Harbor offers a protected “no wake” waterway, yet just a few minutes’ cruise to the main Columbia River channel. The depth under the moorage is 20 ft or more, an advantage over those that struggle with silting and late summer shallows.

The moorage offers a few seasonal slips for vessels up to 25 feet in length, as well as long-term slips for sailboats and low-profile boats up to 35 feet in length.
